I had some ideas for posts like "What Nintendo DS games are out of print?" but I thought they would be best suited to community wiki mode, like StackOverflow has on their site. I think it's a good option to have, since those questions and answers can be voted up or down without affecting reputation.

However, I can't tell if I can do that on GameLegend. Do we have that feature on the site and I simply don't see it? Or do we not have that feature, and I should just create regular questions for subjective or long-list-style topics?

Questions and Answers can be marked as a Community Wiki by selecting the check box under the edit box. It is circled in red in the image below.

This has the advantage of allowing people to add more to the question or answer without affecting the original posters reputation.

It also gives everyone the okay nod to improve and expand with their own contributions. It is most useful for questions that one person couldn't possible answer on their own or for questions more on the opinion side of the spectrum.

Community Wiki is available. Already done at least one topic with CW.

Thanks! I didn't see it when writing the post, but it's apparent when I'm editing. Do you know if it's only available after the fact? – Miss Cellanie Nov 23 at 19:40
@Miss Cellanie There's a checkbox right below the question text area labeled "community wiki." – cowgod Nov 23 at 21:04
Thanks, StampedeXV and cowgod. I still don't see it when initially creating a new question, but I guess I can post it and then immediately click "Edit" to get at the wiki option, right? – Miss Cellanie Nov 23 at 21:52
It might be a reputation thing. I think you can't mark a question as a community wiki until you also edit community wikis. – MrPhil Nov 24 at 2:34
